Plant hydration through the summer and winter months is important. Our product keeps your beloved plants hydrated without the need for constant watering.
One fully hydrated Hydrohog block will keep up to four hanging baskets hydrated all year round.
Four hydrated Hydrohog blocks will keep 16 hanging baskets hydrated all year round
- Mix one Hydrohog block with 7 litres of water
- Leave the block to absorb the moisture over 60 minutes
- Then add the formed ‘mulch’ to approximately 20 litres of compost to mix in with your plants.
Once Hydrohog is added to your plant’s soil; outdoor plants will need moisture checking in the soil occasionally in extremely dry (drought) weather; high water consumption plants like potatoes may need occasional watering but only after checking soil moisture.
Hydrohog is unsuitable for succulents, cacti or any plant that grows in dry arid conditions.
Hydrohog is perfect for plant hydration for indoor and outdoor plants, including hanging baskets as well as lawns and vegetable patches.
